Building Pathways to Inclusive Development
The Aban Keki Gharda Foundation is a not-for-profit initiative dedicated to strengthening grassroots efforts that improve lives in underserved and rural communities across India.
About Us
Inspired by the life and values of Dr. Aban Keki Gharda, the Foundation supports credible non-governmental organizations working in the areas of Rural Education, Health Outreach, Women Empowerment, and Sustainable Agriculture.
Our role is simple yet purposeful:
To enable committed NGOs to access support, collaborate effectively, and implement meaningful, scalable interventions that address real needs on the ground.
We invite organizations that share our values of integrity, inclusion, and long-term impact to partner with us and submit project proposals aligned with our focus areas.
Our Focus Areas
Rural Education
Empowering children and youth in rural communities through access to quality education, learning resources, and skill-building opportunities that open pathways to self-reliance.
Health Outreach
Supporting preventive healthcare, awareness programs, and access to essential medical services for communities with limited healthcare infrastructure.
Women Empowerment
Strengthening women’s social and economic participation through education, livelihood support, leadership development, and rights-based initiatives.
Sustainable Agriculture
Promoting environmentally responsible farming practices that enhance livelihoods, protect natural resources, and ensure long-term food security.
For NGOs and Partners
Organizations working in alignment with the Foundation’s focus areas are invited to submit project proposals through this platform. Each proposal is evaluated based on relevance, feasibility, transparency, and potential for impact.
Together, we aim to support initiatives that create meaningful, lasting change in the lives of communities that need it most.
